Arkhangelsky launched new E-75 bark boiler

Aug 25, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Arkhangelsky pulp and paper enterprise (Arkhangelsk region, Russia) launched new E-75 bark boiler, corporate public-affairs reported.
The project is estimated at RUR 410 million, of which EUR 6.8 million were allocated by the World Bank in 2004-2005. Head of the heating station N3 Pavel Kotlov said, that according to the project the boiler will process 265 thousand tons of bark and wooden waste/yr. These type of fuel is more environment safe than coal or blackoil. With the launch of the new boiler, pulp production will recieve sufficient volumes of steam which will result in the reduction of coal and blackoil. The new boiler will be launched on the 65-th anniversary of Arkhangelsky.
