Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization - a measure of cash flow known as EBITDA - totaled 364.3 million reais (approx. $214 million) , compared with 416 million reais (approx. $245 million) a year earlier. Net revenue reached 841.4 million reais (approx. $495 million) in the quarter, up from 832.6 million reais (approx. $490 million) in the same period last year. Aracruz Celulose S.A. is a major Brazilian manufacturer of pulp. The company is the world's leading supplier of bleached eucalyptus pulp. The company has two pulp making plants, one at Barra do Riacho in Espírito Santo state and the other at Guaíba in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It also has forestry operations in these states as well as in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.
