Nov 11, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Harri Nikunen, who was appointed senior vice president, finance for Metso Paper as of November 1, 2005, has been appointed member of Metso Paper’s board of directors. In this connection, Jyrki Vesaluoma, who has transferred to work for another employer, resigned from Metso Paper’s board of directors. Metso is a global technology corporation serving customers in the pulp and paper industry, rock and minerals processing, the energy industry and selected other industries. In 2004, the net sales of Metso Corporation were approximately Euro 4 billion, and it has some 22 000 employees in more than 50 countries.
