Kappa restarts rebuilt PM at Ania plant
The unit's upgrade was aimed at increasing the mill's capacity of waste-based containerboard from 150,000 tonnes/yr to 200,000 tonnes/yr. Production quality was also improved as a result of the revamp. The plant has one other machine which produces testliner and corrugating medium.
BRUSSELS, Sept. 20, 2001 (paperloop.com) - Kappa has restarted the rebuilt PM 2 at its Ania plant in Italy. The revamped waste-based fluting machine was fitted with new Metso Paper press and dryer sections.
