Norske Skog's CEO Christian Rynning-Tønnesen announced price increases for newsprint of Euro 75 per tonne in most European markets, and Euro 100 per tonne in the UK and certain other European markets, company said in a statement. This is an increase of 15% to more than 20% compared with the current price level.
