Polish unit of U.S. Kimberly-Clark eyes 80% turnover growth

Polish hygiene products manufacturer Kimberly-Clark SA, a unit of the U.S. paper and sanitary products maker Kimberly-Clark, plans to increase its turnover in Poland by 80% within the next three years, the director general of Kimberly-Clark's Polish unit, Marek Modzelewski, said on April 19, 2005.

Polish hygiene products manufacturer Kimberly-Clark SA, a unit of the U.S. paper and sanitary products maker Kimberly-Clark, plans to increase its turnover in Poland by 80% within the next three years, the director general of Kimberly-Clark's Polish unit, Marek Modzelewski, said on April 19, 2005.
Kimberly-Clark's turnover growth in Poland is expected to stand at between 10% and 12% in 2005. The company's turnover grew by 22% year-on-year to 578.1 million Polish zloty ($180 million/138.2 million euro) in 2004.
At present, Kimberly-Clark is a leader in Polish paper hygiene products market with a 31% share, the company's marketing director Marek Rutkowski said.
The company eyes to reach a 35% market share in 2005.
The total value of Polish paper hygiene products market currently totals 640 million zloty ($199.2 million/152.9 million euro).
Kimberly-Clark has units in 42 countries worldwide and sells its products in 150 countries. Some 58% of Kimberly-Clark's revenue come from South America and 20% are generated in Europe.
