Sawing increased 12.8% to 257.758 thousand cub m, sawn timber production – up 7.6% to 123.249 thousand cub m.
Solombalsky was founded in 1929, in 1992 it was transferred into Solombalsky saw and timber-processing enterprise. The enterprise produces sawn timber for export, exports exceed 65% of the overall production volume. The enterprise also produces tare, joiner’s and building goods, as well as chips for the pulp and paper production.
The enterprise’s sawing capacity is 700 thousand cub m/yr. The goods are exported to the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Egypt.
