Apr 29, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Reflex takes over the production and products involving opaque drawing and artist’s papers from the Papierfabrik Schoellershammer, which based in Düren, Germany, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Under the brand “Schoellershammer Fine Art by Reflex”, the papers, which are in high demand with artists and graphic designers, are to be provided by Reflex in future.

“With this new business segment, we see an excellent chance to strengthen and develop our portfolio in addition to the existing Reflex paper products”, says Hariolf Koeder, CEO of Reflex.

The 230-year old family-run company Schoellershammer intends to set up a new paper machine by the end of 2016. In this way, the paper manufacturers wish to concentrate on the field of packaging as well as on transparent fine papers. The relinquishment of the opaque paper range to Reflex is therefore a natural development for Schoellershammer, in particular due to the close proximity of the two companies in Düren. However, the main reason for this decision was that Reflex possess the technical prerequisites for this business segment.

The sales will be orientated both on the German-speaking markets and on the international markets in Europe and overseas. The continuity of the sales activities will be guaranteed through the reinforcement of the Reflex Team through experienced Schoellershammer competence.
