Russian Sokolsky launched HEW SAW R-250 sawing line
004. Russian Sokolsky timber-processing enterprise (Vologda region, owned by National Timber Industry Company) launched a HEW SAW R-250 sawing line with the capacity of 160 thousand cub m/yr, NTIC spokesperson told Lesprom.ru.
Jun 28, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Sokolsky timber-processing enterprise (Vologda region, owned by National Timber Industry Company) launched a HEW SAW R-250 sawing line with the capacity of 160 thousand cub m/yr, NTIC spokesperson told Lesprom.ru.
The launch ceremony was attended by: governor of Vologda region Vyacheslav Pozgalev, director of the regional department of economics Leonid Yogman, chief of Sokolsky regional administration Alexander Ozhogin, NTIC CEO Andrei Prokopov, Sokolsky director Sergey Gorev.
The sawing line worth RUR 36 million was supplied by Finnish Viesto Group. HEW-SAW R-250 replaced the former sawing line HEW-SAW-R-200 with the capacity of 100 thousand cub m/yr.
Sokolsky timber-processing enterprise manufactures window and door units, glued, shaven and linear products, houses of glued cant, as well as framework and panels, cement and shaven boards. The enterprise’s round timber sawing capacities are 360 thousand cub m/yr. The enterprise employs 1600 workers. Sokolsky exports its products to Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Austria, Italy, Baltic states, as well as supplies products to the interior market.
