Nov 21, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. Russian government has approved by decree of the 17 of November №683 customs import duties on some types of pulp on continuing basis. According to governmental press-service, import duty on softwood wood cellulose, natron or sulfate cellulose, semi-bleached and bleached pulp is 5% of its customs value. Other softwood cellulose with TN VED 4703 21 000 9 code and also hardwood pulp import duty is 15% of its customs value. New decree comes into effect after the expiry of a month after its official publication.
