Stella-Jones announces retirement of CFO George Labelle

Jun 04, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Stella-Jones Inc. announced that George T. Labelle, Senior Vice-President and CFO will retire on August 10, 2012 after more than twelve years of service with the Company.
"On behalf of the Board of Directors and Stella- Jones employees, I would like to thank George for his many years of outstanding dedication and service," said Brian McManus, President and CEO. "During his twelve years with the Company, he has made a substantial contribution to the growth of Stella-Jones. George will remain with the Company in an advisory capacity for the balance of the year to assist with the transition of responsibilities".
As per the Company's succession plan, Eric Vachon, Stella-Jones' Vice- President and Treasurer, will assume the position of Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Vachon joined Stella-Jones in February of 2007 and has previously served as the Company's Vice-President Finance, U.S. Operations and Director, Treasury and Financial Reporting.
Stella-Jones also announced that Remi Godin has been promoted to the position of Vice-President and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company. Remi Godin has been with Stella-Jones since its inception and has previously served as its Vice-President and Corporate Comptroller.
