The WTO accepted Indonesia's charge that South Korea has violated the WTO rules by imposing anti dumping measures against Indonesian commodities, trade minister Mari Elka Pangestu said on Monday.
South Korea accused Indonesia of dumping and imposed anti dumping surcharges of 2.8% to 51.6% in May 2003. South Korea imposes no import duty on paper products.
The Sinar Mas Group, the largest paper maker in the country said its exports of paper to South Korea were valued only $60 million a year after the surcharge imposition down from normally $100 million a year.
