Aug 16, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. The Communications, Energy, and Paperworkers Union of Canada has postponed a strike action at Ainsworth Lumber Co.'s OSB mill in Barwick, Ontario, for 48 hours pending the outcome of talks scheduled with company management for August 17, as Random Lengths reported.
The union had planned the strike for August 15. "We also finalized preparations for immediate strike action in the event these talks are unsuccessful," said a union representative.
