China's newsprint output reached 409,000 metric tons in September, down 1.8% from a year earlier, the National Bureau of Statistics said, as Dow Jones informed Lesprom Network. Total production during January-September fell 5.8% on year to 3.55 million tons. Paper and paper board production in September rose 19% to 8.28 million tons. January-September paper and paper board output rose 8.8% to 67.38 million tons. Plywood output in September reached 12.55 million cubic meters, up 19% on year. Plywood production during January-September was up 12% on year to 95.15 million cubic meters.
