Homag Group opens engineering center in Poznan, Poland

The Homag Group opened a new engineering center in Poznan, Poland. Around 80 engineers will work in research and development in the 900 m2 office building by the end of 2018, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

"Poznan will become an important part of our global engineering network. The focus of development will be on automation, software and digital solutions", emphasizes Pekka Paasivaara, CEO of the Homag Group.

The new location is about 40 kilometers away from the Homag Group's second-largest plant in Środa Wielkopolska, where Homag employs approximately 800 people. Due to the new setup the engineers from Poznan can directly accompany the implementation of their projects.
