Iberpapel's net profit increased 10.05% to Euro 25.2 million in 2018

Grupo Iberpapel has reported net profit of Euro 25.2 million for 2018, growth of 10.05% from 2017 (Euro 22.9 million). EBITDA, meanwhile, was 10.85% higher at Euro 40.9 million. Revenue amounted to Euro 221.1 million, up 1.85% from 2017 (Euro 217.1 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Earnings momentum at Grupo Iberpapel thus extended the trend of previous years. In 2018, earnings growth was driven by higher sales of paper (1.77%, underpinned by higher sales prices throughout the year) and timber. The Group stepped up its forestry activity in South America during 2018, which translated into growth in timber sales of 34% compared to 2017.
