In the first quarter 2006, logging enterprises of Onezhsky timber-processing company, Arkhangelsk region, Russia, decreased timber removal volume by 28.1% compared to the same period of 2005 to 264.5 thousand cubic meters, the enterprise reported. Timber removal decreased by Onegalist by 33.2% to 86.6 thousand cubic meters, by Maloshuykales by 14.3% to 42.5 thousand cubic meters, by Yarnemales by 20.8% to 48.7 thousand cubic meters. In March 2006 alone, logging enterprises of Onezhsky timber-processing company decreased timber removal volume by 17.8% to 112.6 thousand cubic meters.
