In the first half of 2017 Japan’s imports of plywood were 8% above the level in the first half of 2016, as ITTO reported.
Despite the overall rise June imports were disappointing, falling almost 19% compared to levels recorded for May. Year-on-year June imports of plywood were down 11%.
