Komatsu Forest supplies 150 harvesting machines to Vyborg Timber Corporation in Russia

Nov 22, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Komatsu Forest signs an agreement with Vyborg Timber Corporation to supply 150 harvesting machines: 80 forwarders and 70 harvesters, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

All delivered machines are serviced by a full service contract. “It means a persistent presence of our customer service in felling area and therefore, prompt reaction to any technical questions,” explains Sales and Marketing Director of Komatsu Forest Russia Timofey Bogatenko.

Komatsu Forest will serve equipment about 4-5 years. All equipment installed with system for remote control and monitoring MaxiFleet. The system allows to monitor, adjust and optimize in on-line from a computer or smartphone.

Komatsu Forest supplies three types of forwarders of medium and heavy class and two types of harvesters including new models - Komatsu 865 and Komatsu 931.1.

Currently, Komatsu machines are working in the forests of the Leningrad region and Karelia, Russia.
