Racicot was President and CEO of the American Insurance Association from 2005 through 2009. Prior to that, he was a partner in the law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani, LLP. He served as governor of the state of Montana from 1993 to 2001. "Marc’s impressive background as an experienced statesman and leader, along with his deep roots in the state of Montana will be of great value to Plum Creek," said Rick Holley, President and CEO. Racicot is the eighth independent member of Plum Creek’s Board, which is comprised of nine individuals. Plum Creek is the largest and most geographically diverse private landowner in the nation with approximately 7 million acres of timberlands in major timber producing regions of the United States and wood products manufacturing facilities in the Northwest.
