The 1,700 square meter facility comprises a valve service center, Metso sales office and training facilities. The center is ideally located in the Gothenburg area close to the pulp & paper and oil & gas customers situated on the west coast of Sweden. It will also play a key role in supporting Södra Cell's Värö pulp mill expansion project.

Metso's flow control services are available through more than 40 service centers worldwide. Services are provided for Metso and third-party field devices, including valves, actuators, smart devices and pumps. In addition, the service centers provide spare parts, field support and diagnostic services as well as training programs.
Building on these technical services, Metso offers business solutions, such as Intelligent Shutdown, Intelligent Maintenance, Device Management and Control Performance, to optimize maintenance, reliability and production efficiency.
