Canadian-based packaging company CCL Industries Inc. is paying about $64 million for Brazilian label maker Prodesmaq, Brazil's largest supplier of pressure-sensitive labels for many of the same global companies served by CCL in health-care and premium food and beverage industries. CCL Industries provides specialty packaging for some of the world's largest producers of consumer brands.
