The President of Mecano Group Oy, the Kajaani based Raute's fully owned subsidiary concentrating on machine vision and measuring technology, Mr. Pasi Kenola has resigned on 29 July 2008. Ms. Arja Hakala, CFO of Raute Group, has been appointed President of Mecano Group Oy for the merger period.

As part of the ongoing project within Raute Group with the target clarify the Group structure as well as boost operational efficiency, a process of merging Mecano Group Oy to Raute Corporation has been started. As of 30 July 2008, Ms. Arja Hakala, CFO of Raute Group, has been appointed President of Mecano Group Oy for the merger period.
