ST. PETERSBURG. /Prime-TASS/. - Cargo turnover at Russia's St. Petersburg-based Petrolesport increased 6,7% on the year in January-September to 2.713 million tonnes, an official with the port's press service told Prime-Tass Monday. The port's timber cargo turnover rose 44.5% on the year in the period to 1.197 million tonnes, while general cargo turnover stood at 1.181 million tonnes, almost flat on the year. The port also moved 55,486 20-foot containers in January-September, up 7% on the year. In September, Petrolesport's total cargo turnover was at 336,200 tonnes, down 1.6% on the year, including 2,028 tonnes of general cargo, up 5% on the year. The port's main shareholder is the Ixworth Investments Group, which holds a 19.69% stake.
