Earnings per share increased to $1.01 from $0.36 a year ago, as RTT News reported. Pro Forma net income increased to $32.0 million or $0.40 per share from $28.9 million or $0.36 per share last year. Sales decreased to $300.6 million from $317.5 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of $293.48 million for the quarter. For the full year 2009, the company anticipates earnings per share, excluding special item related to the alternative fuel mixture credit, to be about 20% below 2008. Rayonier is a leading international forest products company with three core businesses: Timber, Real Estate and Performance Fibers.
