According to estimations, earnings of group of companies Northwest Timber Company (SZLC, St Petersburg, Russia) in 2007 will amount to RUR 5.5 billion, SZLC financial director Irina Yusipishina said on March 1 during Internet-conference. Yusipishina said that EBITDA is estimated at RUR 679 million. “On the whole we plan to continue positive dynamics of financial results of the group at the expense of increase of market shares, entry onto new markets and increase of business profitability”, she noted. According to the director of investments and development Dmitry Dievsky, “additional sales volume will be provided, first of all, by means of production realization at growing Russian market of sized office and fine offset paper. In 2006 company has launched new production facilities at Nemansky PPM. As a result production volume increased by 60 000 tonnes of paper per annum. Just this increase is reflected in forecast for 2007.”
