Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in January 2019 was worth Euro 5.5 million, 23% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The values of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs, and of fuel wood were higher by about 30% and by 38%, respectively, while the values of purchased pulpwood and other industrial roundwood were lower by about 1% and by 25%, respectively.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in January 2019 was almost 21% lower than in January 2018, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by almost 32% and of other industrial roundwood by 2%, while the values of purchased wood fuel and pulpwood were higher by about 36% and by 37%, respectively.
