Slovenia: The value of purchased roundwood increased by 21% in June

Slovenia's roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2018 was worth Euro 5.2 million, which is about 23% less than in the previous month, mainly due to the lower quantity of purchased wood, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was lower by about 23%, of wood fuel by almost 48%, of pulpwood by almost 14% and of other industrial roundwood by about 20%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in June 2018 was about 21% higher than in June 2017, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased wood. The value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs was higher by almost 18%, of wood fuel by about 26%, of pulpwood by 41% and of other industrial roundwood by about 7%.
