SLDK, based in Syktywkar, Komi Republic, Russia, is investing in the modernization and capacity expansion of a saw and pellet mill.
URBAS Energietechnik was commissioned to deliver a 30 MW hot water boiler system securing the heat supply and built a URBAS boiler system of the latest generation with vertical afterburning, as it is successfully used particularly in power plant construction, in cogeneration plants.
The contract also includes the implementation of the heating equipment for the needs-based supply of all heat consumers (lumber drying, chip drying and heating of the production halls).
