US box supplies on the rise again
004. US box supplies increassed 6,2% to 31,53 billion sq feet in May 2004 compared with the prior period in 2003, Fibre Box Association reported. Box supplies growth in the US have been on the rise for the recent 8 months excluding March 2004.

Overall box supplies within 5 months was 160,93 billion sq feet, up 3,2% compared with the prior period in 2003.
In May 2004 US enterprises reported package cardboard stores continued to reduce. Total package cardboard stores were 2,287 million tons by the end of May 2004, down 5,800 tons compared with the end of April 2004. The enterprises’ productivity was estimated at 97,5%.
