In first half 2006 net income of Ust-Ilim LPC forest industry complex (Irkutsk region, Russia, belongs to Ilim Pulp Corp.) rose 6.8 times to RUR 201.3 million, Ilim Pulp press-service reported. Net sales rose by 16.2% to RUR 3.9 billion, cost of sales – by 16.7% to RUR 2.8 billion. Company’s gross profit in January-June 2006 rose by 15% to RUR 1.2 billion, pre-tax profit increased 6 times to RUR 308.5 million, profit on sales – by 43% to RUR 522.8 million. Bill payable as of June 30, 2006 was RUR 314.1 million, bill receivable with payments during twelve months after reporting date was RUR 2.1 billion.
