VologdaLesNIKCenter certification center opened in Vologda (Russia) with the main task to support forest management and usage in the region by providing educative, consulting, expert services as well as research projects. Among other activities is the design of environmental policies of timber enterprises and timber supplies; the development of voluntary forest certification in Vologda region; regional monitoring of the state of forest and other tasks.
