May 28, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Mr. Warren serves as vice president and general manager, supply chain. He has responsibility for corporate transportation, corporate procurement, and logistics and customer service for Boise paper, packaging & newsprint. "Bob's leadership and considerable experience serve us well," said Alexander Toeldte, executive vice president of Boise paper, packaging & newsprint. "His exceptional track record in tackling difficult challenges and his ability to bring people together to generate breakthrough results gave the board the confidence to elect Bob as a vice president." Prior to his election to the board, Mr. Warren was director, planning and development, Boise paper. He successfully managed a number of strategic initiatives for the company. He began his career with Procter and Gamble in manufacturing and product development roles. He joined Boise Cascade in 1979 and had key responsibilities in manufacturing, sales, marketing, logistics and general management. He also led an internet start-up company and served as president and CEO of Young & Roehr Group, a leading West Coast advertising and marketing communications company, before re-joining the company in 2003. Mr. Warren has a masters of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Oregon State University. He and his wife, Carol, reside in Boise, Idaho. Boise, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, manufactures engineered wood products, plywood, lumber, and particleboard and distributes a broad line of building materials, including wood products manufactured by the company. Boise also manufactures a wide range of specialty and premium products, including imaging papers for the office and home and papers for pressure sensitive applications, as well as printing and converting papers, containerboard and corrugated boxes, newsprint, and market pulp.
