CCL Industries Inc. reported 2Q 2018 results. Sales for the 2Q 2018 increased 0.9% to $1,264.4 million, compared to $1,252.9 million for the 2Q 2017, with 1.3% organic growth and 1% acquisition-related growth partially offset by a negative 1.4% impact from foreign currency translation.
Operating income for the 2Q 2018 was $199.6 million, an increase of 6% compared to $188.3 million for the comparable quarter of 2017.
Net earnings were $121.1 million for the 2Q 2018 compared to $109.9 million for the 2Q 2017.
For the six-month period ended June 30, 2018, sales, operating income and net earnings improved 7.7%, 15.3% and 21.2% to $2.5 billion, $400.2 million and $239.8 million, respectively, compared to the same six-month period in 2017.
