Coldenhove Papier invested in a new pulper

Coldenhove in Netherlands has invested in a new, innovative and energy-saving pulper, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

In cooperation with Voith and Veenbouw, Coldenhoves technical service has been able to realize this profound project. The 25-year-old pulper has been removed and after various technical and constructive modifications on site, the new pulper has been installed.

The new pulper ensures a substantial increase (+ 30%) of the production, while the pulp quality remains consistently high. The flow-optimized vat of the pulper, in combination with the eccentrically arranged rotor, generates a perfect turbulence and allow for energy savings of at least 20%, which will reduce the ecological footprint of Coldenhove.

In the meanwhile, the summer break is over, the project has been completed successfully and the pulper is running properly.

Coldenhove Papier is a state-of-the-art paper mill, specialised in technical and industrial papers and boards.
