May 19, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. The Russian company OOO DOK Kalevala signed a contract in May for a complete OSB system, to be installed at Petrozawodsk, in the Karelia region. At present the system produces 750 cubic metres a day - after the extension the capacity will be doubled to 1,500 cubic metres per day, as HOLTEC said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. OOO DOK Kalevala is part of the Kompakt group of companies, who erect large industrial buildings and consequently have a high demand for OSB boards. The location at Kalevala has the best conditions as regards to the raw material. The company Siempelkamp from Krefeld, Germany, is the general contractor for this big project. HOLTEC received the order for the supply of the logyard including log ponds and heating technology.
