Aug 30, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Lumber Liquidators' net sales in the 2Q 2015 were $247.9 million, a decrease of 5.8% from the 2Q 2014, including a comparable store net sales decline of 10% due to a 7.6% decrease in the number of customers invoiced and a 2.4% decrease in the average sale. Lumber Liquidators opened seven new stores during the 2Q 2015, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Net loss was $20.3 million, or a loss of $0.75 per diluted share, in the 2Q 2015 and net income was $16.6 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, in the 2Q 2014.

Net sales decreased 0.3% to $507.9 million in the first six months of 2015 from $509.4 million in the first six months of 2014. Comparable store net sales decreased 6% for the first half of 2015.

Gross margin decreased to 30.3% for the first six months of 2015 from 40.7% in the same period of 2014.

Net loss was $28.1 million, or a loss of $1.04 per diluted share, in the first half of 2015 and net income was $30.3 million, or $1.09 per diluted share, in the first half of the prior year.
