Canada's lumber production was down 6.2% from May 2017 to 5 723.6 thousand cubic metres in June 2017. Production was 2.9% lower than June 2016, as Statistics Canada said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Sawmills shipped 5 757.8 thousand cubic metres of lumber in June, down 2.9% from May and 4.7% lower than June 2016.
