OneFortyOne (OFO) has announced that the Wood Products team have been given approval to commence work on a new capital expenditure project worth approximately A$14 million ($10.6 million) for the Jubilee Highway Sawmill in Mount Gambier, Australia.
The project will see the construction and commissioning of an additional 61 sorter bins for the site, all of which will be fabricated and installed by local contractors.
OneFortyOne also confirms there will be no redundancies as a result of the project and estimate there will be over 50 local contractors working on site during the term of the project.
OFO is a leader in the Australian forestry industry. It holds long-term harvesting rights to a softwood plantation estate in the Green Triangle region comprising over 80,000 hectares.
