Average delivery prices of sawlog in Sweden rose by 2% in the 3Q 2017, compared with previous quarter. Prices rose mostly for sawlogs of spruce in all regions of Sweden, as the Swedish Forest Agency said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
In total prices of pulpwood remained unchanged for the entire country during the 3Q 2017, compared to previous quarter. Pulpwood prices of birch fell slightly, while other assortment rose slightly.
In a comparison between the 3Q 2017 and the 3Q 2016 sawlog prices fell by 3%. Pulpwood prices raised by 2% in the 2Q 2017, compared to 2Q 2016.
