In 1966, Emanuele left Italy for Johannesburg, South Africa, where he organized various activities primarily aimed at Italian immigrants and engaged deeply with local black communities. In 1994, personal reasons forced him to leave South Africa. He then dedicated himself to business, bringing to Italy the traditional 'Tegola in Canna del capo' roofing, inspired by a South African friend. The dream became reality with Matteo, who, alongside his brother Giuseppe in the family carpentry, partnered with Emanuele in this new venture. They began by combining metal structures to support the 'Canna del capo' tiles for umbrellas and gazebos. Their enthusiasm and shared vision overcame difficulties and led to custom AFRICA STYLE solutions. The market recognized the added value of their synergy and brand strength. Today, the company continues to create unique spaces inspired by African materials, produced both in South Africa and Italy. Matteo applies his innate architectural and design skills to enhance each project by blending these elements with the quality and craftsmanship of Made in Italy.
