Norsk Limtre AS provided glulam for a holiday cabin in Bjørgan after a request from a couple in Inderøy. The company manufactures panels, decking, cladding and slatted panels from glulam. It offers natural interior and exterior panels in a wide range of colors and finishes and supplies royal-impregnated decking boards made from glulam that increase durability and dimensional stability; the wider boards allow faster installation and reduce the number of fasteners required. The company produces cladding in large dimensions for applications ranging from modern detached houses to industrial buildings. Narrow slatted panels are milled to customer-specified widths and patterns and help reduce room reverberation. Norsk Limtre AS requires documentation and certifications from the forest to the finished product and sources wood from responsibly managed forests certified to FSC and PEFC standards. Glulam is described as environmentally friendly, dimensionally stable and having a high strength-to-weight ratio, enabling large-dimension timber products without compromising quality.
