Norgesvinduet Bjørlo AS, together with Norgesvinduet Svenningdal AS, has begun sending EHF invoices containing climate data directly to its customers in a fully automated, structured and ready-to-use format, according to Hans R. Starheim, managing director of Norgesvinduet Bjørlo AS. Veidekke, the first recipient, reported that climate data are now arriving in large volumes. The initiative confirms that the industry work with Byggstand — involving Veidekke, Skanska, AF Gruppen and Peab — which has called for automation of climate-data flows to reduce manual work, is effective. The company regards this as a step toward reduced friction, improved data quality and more reliable climate accounting without unnecessary time expenditure.
