Jan 16, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Ulrich Begemann of Heidenheim, Germany, and Alfred Schauz of Nattheim, Germany, have developed a method for manufacturing and converting of paper. According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In a method for the production and converting of paper, paper-specific information determined during paper production is transmitted to and considered during the respective converting process to thereby optimize at least one converting process."
The inventors were issued U.S. Patent № 6 985 790 on January 10.
The patent has been assigned to Voith Paper Patent GmbH, Heidenheim. The original application was filed on March 5, 2001.
