Driven by continued increases in cost of raw materials, transportation, and energy, BASF will increase prices across the portfolios of paper and water chemicals with immediate effect, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Price increases of 5% to 10% globally are targeted for selected product lines while measured increases will be implemented for specific products and delivery locations. Paper coating chemicals are not affected by the price increase.
