The Board of Directors of Empresas CMPC S.A. accepted the resignation of Hernán Rodríguez Wilson from the position of CEO, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Additionally, the Board of Directors agreed to designate as new Chief Executive of Empresas CMPC S.A. Francisco Ruiz-Tagle Edwards, current CEO of the Pulp subsidiary. Mr. Ruiz-Tagle is a commercial engineer and has a long career in the Company, having held various executive positions both in Chile and abroad since his admission in 1991.
Both the resignation of Mr. Rodriguez and the appointment of Mr. Ruiz-Tagle, will be effective as of August 1, 2018.
Empresas CMPC produces forestry, pulp, paper, tissue and packaging products throughout Latin America.
