Gascogne’s EBITDA rose 30% to Euro 15.3 million in 1H 2017

Gascogne’s 1H 2017 sales totalled Euro 213.7 million, which is stable compared to first-half 2016 (Euro 212.8 million). The EBITDA rose 30%, from Euro 11.7 million to Euro 15.3 million, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The underlying operating profit thus increased from Euro 7 million to Euro 10.2 million. The operating profit totalled Euro 6.8 million and includes Euro -3.4 million in other non-operating income and expenses, mainly comprising additions to provisions for the Planned Redundancy Programme in the Wood Division.

Net financial items are negative at Euro -1.6 million, down Euro 0.3 million mainly due to the decrease in the foreign exchange result. Net profit stands at Euro 5 million, compared to Euro 5.1 million in first half 2016.
