Keitele Timber Oy Kemijärvi Sawmill has ordered three automatic 2-zone progressive kilns type HTC from Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. with annual capacity of ca. 190,000 cubic metres when drying pine sideboards to 18% final moisture content, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Progressive kilns are equipped with heat recovery units, pressure frames and high-pressure water spraying unit. The kilns are delivered as turnkey connected to the existing progressive kilns. The new automatic progressive kilns will be taken into production in the beginning of 2017.
Heinola Sawmill Machinery Inc. designs, manufactures and markets technology for sawmills and wood chip fuel production.
