In the 1Q 2017, the Homag Group's sales revenue climbed 31% to Euro 401 million (prior year: Euro 306 million), as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Order backlog reached its highest level in the company's history with Euro 520 million as of March 31, 2017 and sales revenue increased 14% to Euro 296 million, compared to Euro 260 million in 1Q 2016. The operating EBIT climbed to Euro 23.2 million (prior year: Euro 16.5 million).

"We had an extraordinarily good 1Q," CEO Pekka Paasivaara emphasizes. "In all major regions, particularly in North America, Europe and China, we were able to increase our order intake substantially."
