Metsä Group raises its result guidance for the 4Q 2017, which was announced in the interim report for January - September 2017.
The previous guidance was: Metsä Group’s comparable operating result is in the 4Q 2017 expected to be to be roughly at the same level as in the 3Q 2017.
The new guidance is: Metsä Group’s comparable operating result is in the 4Q 2017 expected to improve from the 3Q 2017.
Metsä Group’s comparable operating result was Euro 134 million in the 3Q 2017.
The change in result guidance is due to the better than forecast long fibre pulp market situation and price development as well as the higher than expected production volumes of the Äänekoski bioproduct mill.
Metsä Group focuses on wood supply and forest services, wood products, pulp, fresh fibre paperboards and tissue and cooking papers.
